Have a Blessed Summer

As I reflect on the special moments of this past year at St. Patrick CES, I am filled with a great sense of gratitude. It is a blessing to be part of the St. Patrick Catholic School community.

Gratitude is the virtue that makes us aware and appreciate the gifts we receive each day.

I am grateful to the parent and Parish community for all your hard work and for supporting all our endeavours. Thank you for sharing your time, faith and talents with us throughout the school year. Thank you to our Catholic School Council Co-Chairs Dan Carmichael and Stephanie Ware and the CSC, Father Dominic, Father Jihwan and the Parish team, Catholic School Trustee James Ecker and Superintendent Laura Sawicky for your ongoing support.

I am grateful to the staff of St. Patrick. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the success of your students.  You share your joy of teaching in a wide variety of creative and innovative ways. You make a difference in the lives of your students.

I am grateful to the students of St. Patrick. They are examples of God’s goodness. Whether learning remotely, or Face-to-Face they are filled with enthusiasm, energy and love of learning.  I am so proud of all their accomplishments this year. May they always strive to be the best they can be.

I want to both thank and congratulate our Class of 2021 on the tremendous efforts you have made and the success you have achieved in reaching the milestone of your Grade 8 Graduation, during these extraordinary times.  May you continue to celebrate your many gifts. May you always reflect on and remember the goodness of God’s many blessings. May you be grateful for all the friendships, memories and learning experiences you have had during your elementary education.  May you be inspired by the words of St. John Paul ll, “Remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, look forward to the future with confidence.”

I hope and pray that God will continue to bless this school, staff, students, families and parishioners in our beautiful St. Patrick School Community. May God Bless all our students as they take time to relax, pray and reflect on all their learning and come back in September fully rejuvenated and prepared to set new goals, form new friendships and celebrate endless possibilities.

Until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Mrs. K. Pellegrini
