Our major school fundraising campaign will be a fun event scheduled for Wednesday October 31st, 2018. Proceeds from the Spook-a-thon will be used to benefit the students directly. The funds will be used to enhance school wide educational goals, by providing supplementary resources to support learning in technology, literacy, mathematics, innovations, sports and the Arts. Fundraising helps support extra-curricular activities, Bullying Prevention initiatives, positive climate activities and field trips.
Spook-a-thon Schedule
FDK: 8:45 – 9:15
Grade 1-3: 9:15 – 10:15
Grade 4-6: 10:15 – 11:15
Grade 7-8: 1:00 – 2:30
Costumes
Students are encouraged to wear a costume or orange and black colours for our Spook-A-Thon. Please ensure that costumes do not promote violence; this would include costumes of which weapons, or replicas of weapons, are a part. Also, costumes and masks need to fit the child so that he/she can walk without tripping or falling.
Halloween Safety
As Halloween is fast approaching, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of the children at St. Patrick who have LIFE THREATENING allergies to peanuts and nut products. Please do not send any treats or candies to school to share with others.
