Catholic communities of faith are asked each spring to help others by donating to ShareLife. Before the Pandemic, our students raised money by participating in “Bowling for ShareLife”. This year, we are happy to bring back this St. Pat’s ShareLife tradition on Friday, May 13th, 2022.
On Friday, May 13th:
- Each class will be scheduled to bowl for one hour.
- Your son or daughter will walk over to Markham Bowl, located at 5762 Highway 7, with his/her teacher and classmates.
- Upon arrival at the bowling alley, each student will be given a pair of bowling shoes to change into and assigned a bowling lane. Be sure to indicate your child’s shoe size on the permission form so that changing into bowling shoes can go quickly. The cost per student for this excursion is $10.00 and this includes:
- one hour of bowling
- the rental of bowling shoes
- a bag of chips and a juice box provided by the Catholic School Council
Many thanks go out to Markham Bowl who have given the school a significant fundraising discount so that we can donate the profit from this event to ShareLife. The completed Permission Form, Informed Consent Form and payment for the excursion must be returned by Wednesday, May 4th, 2022. Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to St. Patrick Catholic School) or cash. Thank you for your continued support of faith based initiatives that are so important in Catholic education.
