Welcome Back! We are about to begin an exciting new school year, like no other before. We return with enthusiasm hope and some uncertainty. It will be so wonderful to welcome the students back to face to face and virtual learning. It’s hard to believe that it has been six months since we have been in our school.
As we journey together this year, we give thanks to all our families at St. Patrick.
We extend a warm welcome to all our returning students and to all those new to our school community. We are thankful for the efforts and hard work of our teachers, EA’s, ECE’s, secretaries and custodians. They have been hard at work preparing their classrooms and the school in anticipation of our students’ return. We look forward to working closely with Fr. Dominic Barber, and pastoral associate Silvana Amantea. With their help and guidance we hope to continue strengthening our school, home and church partnership. We are truly blessed with a vibrant and supportive parent community.
It is fitting as we begin a new school year that we reflect on the theme for Catholic Education Week 2021: Nurturing Hope in Our Schools.
This is a summer and school beginning like no other. A huge thank you to our community for your patience as we make continuous adjustments to schedules, classes and staffing. We have reassigned teachers and reorganized the class lists due to our declining enrolment of face to face students.
We are happy to welcome back our students. This newsletter will provide details about our reentry plan and safety protocols. The health and safety of all is most important as we joyfully welcome back our students after six months.
God bless us all as we prepare to launch into another year of growth in faith, hope and love.
Yours in Catholic Education,
